This compact patch panel is equipped with an ADMP401 MEMs microphone. One of the key advantages of this breakthrough and microphone is the transplanting of the bottom. This means the microphone input can be flush with the case of your project. Plus, you do not have to try to weirdly solder the mics footprint. Wootness!

Amplifier The gain of the amplifier is 67, which exceeds the bandwidth requirement of the microphone. When no sound is picked up, the amplifiers AUD output will float half Vcc. The amplifier produces a peak-to-peak output of approximately 200 mV when the microphone remains at arm length and speaks at normal session volume levels. So the AUD output can be easily connected to a miniature ADC.
