The DAC allows you to send analog signals, such as sine waves, from digital sources, such as the I2C interface on Arduino microcontrollers. Digital to analog converters are perfect for audio, musical instruments and other creative projects! This version of the MCP4725 Breakout solves some of the problems on the board, including the IC package, the I2C pinout, changing the overall board size to better suit your project, and some minor tweaks. The board opens each pin and you will need to access and use the MCP4725, including the GND and Signal OUT pins, to connect the oscilloscope or any other device that needs to be connected to the board. There are also SCL, SDA, VCC on the board and another GND for the basic I2C pin.
