product description
The distributor uses Linear Technologies LTC3588 piezoelectric energy harvester. This circuit board can not only be used to collect piezoelectric energy, but also for solar energy. Piezoelectric components (PZ1 and PZ2) have a bridge rectifier input, DC power supply has a direct current input (VIN). Both are clamped to 20V. In addition, the board can simply be used as a standalone nano-power buck regulator. Ultra-low quiescent current under voltage lockout (UVLO) mode with wide hysteresis window allows charge to accumulate on the input capacitor until the buck converter is able to efficiently transfer a portion of the stored charge to the output. In regulation, the LTC3588 goes to sleep with minimal input and output quiescent current. The buck converter turns on and off as needed to maintain regulation. The four output voltages (1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V and 3.6V) are pin selectable and provide up to 100mA of continuous output current. However, the size of the output capacitor can be used to sustain higher output current bursts. The input protection shunts set to 20V provide greater energy storage for a given amount of input capacitance. specification 950nA Input Quiescent Current (Output Regulation - No Load) 450nA UVLO input quiescent current 2.7V to 20V input operating range Integrated low-loss full-wave bridge rectifier up to 100mA of output current Optional 1.8V output voltage, 2.5V, 3.3V, 3.6V Efficient integrated hysteretic step-down DC / DC Input protection shunts - pull-down resistor up to 25mA at VIN = 20V Wide input undervoltage lockout (UVLO) range packing list Energy Harvester LTC3588 Subdivision * 1
