Raspberry Pi 4 Model B is the latest product in the popular Raspberry Pi series of computers. Compared with the previous generation Raspberry Pi 3 Model B +, it has achieved breakthrough growth in processor speed, multimedia performance, memory and connectivity, while maintaining backward compatibility and similar power consumption. For end users, Raspberry Pi 4 Model B provides desktop performance comparable to entry-level x86 PC systems.

 

The main features of this product include a high-performance 64-bit quad-core processor, up to 4K resolution supporting dual displays, up to 4Kp60 hardware video decoding, up to 8GB of RAM, dual bandwidth 2.4/5.0 GHz wireless LAN, Bluetooth 5.0, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0 and PoE functions (via separate PoE HAT add-ons).

 

The dual-band wireless network card and Bluetooth have a modular qualification certificate, allowing the board to be designed as a high-end product to significantly reduce compatibility testing, increase costs, and shorten time to market.
