RS232 to 232 converter, serial port optoelectronic isolator
Due to the use of optoelectronic isolation technology, the electrical and ground circuits of the RS-232 devices at both ends are completely isolated, thereby protecting communication equipment from interference and damage caused by power ground circuits and surges, significantly improving the reliability and stability of the communication system. At the same time, by changing the original single ended transmission mode of the RS-232 interface and using dual line balanced transmission, the communication distance is greatly increased.
In the field of asynchronous RS-232 point-to-point using dedicated proprietary lines, HXSP-158 can be used to meet the requirements of interface protection or extended distance.
The SP-158 series products are available in 4-wire, 6-wire, and 8-wire options for power connection. The 4-wire products can transmit a pair of data signals, while the 6-wire and 8-wire products can also transmit one or two pairs of control signals.
SP-158/168 has a compact size and no special requirements for wires. It does not require an external power supply and can be directly plugged into the device's RS-232 interface, making it very convenient to use.
The SP-158/168 series products have been widely used in point-to-point RS-232 communication, connection between multi-user terminals and hosts, RS-232 remote control systems, program-controlled switch billing terminals, and satellite receivers.

4.0 SP-158/168 Product Function Description
RS-232C interface: DB9 pin connector (DTR and DCD short circuited, RTS and CTS short circuited)
Long distance transmission line interface: using DB9 pin connector terminal
Type: RS-232C side (near end) directly connected to DTE equipment using transmission line: 4 copper wires are used for transmission. Wiring method: There are two DB9 pin connectors on the far end, with 2 to 3, 3 to 2, 4 to 5, and 5 to 4 connections. Remote DB9 is defined as: 3 is T -, 4 is T+, 2 is R -, and 5 is R+. When the two products are connected, they are powered symmetrically by one of TXD, RTS, or DTR. Transmission signal: TXD and RXD bidirectional transmission
